Frequently we have customers call us for an estimate of repairs on their boats. There is nothing harder to do than provide an estimate over the phone. If we price the job to include all the possible contingencies we will appear overpriced and not get the job. If we price the job too optimistically the total bill will greatly exceed our estimate and we will have an unhappy customer. In either case, our customers best interest is not served. It is better for the customer and for us if we can see your boat when an estimate is given.
